Day 1: Culture and Desert

• Early morning departure from your hotel in a jeep towards El Jem, and visit its impressive Roman amphitheatre — one of the largest and best-preserved in the world.
• Continue to Matmata, a traditional Berber troalodyte village.
• Discover the underground dwellings carved into the rock and visit the Star Wars Museum, located on the actual filming sites.
• Enjoy a traditional lunch at a hotel in Matmata, in an authentic setting.
• Drive to Douz. known as the gateway to the desert. and check into a 4* hotel.
• At the end of the day, experience an unforgettable camel ride over the dunes at sunset (optional).

Day 2: Adventure and Nature

• Early morning departure to admire the sunrise over Chott El Jerid, the largest salt lake in North Africa.
• Cross the Saharan landscapes made famous by the Star Wars films, in the spirit of a desert rally.
• Continue to the mountain oases of Chebika, Tamerza, and Midès - natural gems with waterfalls, canyons, and palm groves.
• Eniov lunch in Metlaoui, a minina town renowned for its phosphate extraction.
• In the afternoon. drive to Kairouan. the fourth holiest citv in Islam..
• Photo stop in front of the Great Mosque of Okba Ibn Nafaa, followed by a visit to a traditional carpet workshop.
• Return to your hotel at the end of the day.
